Many of the people we support rely on mobility aids or require additional assistance to travel safely and comfortably. As demand for accessible transport continues to grow, investing in modern, purpose-built vehicles has never been more important.
The Hyundai Staria has been selected with this feedback and need in mind. It offers a smoother ride, modern safety technology, improved accessibility and a spacious interior.
These features will help us provide a more comfortable travel experience, particularly for passengers using wheelchairs or travelling longer distances.

A significant investment in our community
A fully wheelchair-accessible Hyundai Staria represents an investment of approximately $90,000 once specialist wheelchair conversion, safety equipment and on-road costs are included.
Government funding helps us provide essential services each day. However, replacing specialised accessible vehicles requires significant additional investment.
Safety is always our priority
St George Community is accredited under the NSW Point to Point Transport legislation and meets strict safety standards.
Our fleet is supported by professional drivers, annual safety inspections, vehicle maintenance and repairs, and wheelchair-accessible transport services.
